It was a cold, but successful night for the 8th grade Lady RedHawks track team as they beat by Concord in a close competition Tuesday night. The girls suffered a narrow loss to the Minutemen 47-49.

The 7th grade 4X100-meter relay team continued their first place winning streak, collecting their 3rd win in a row. The 7th grade girls fought a tough battle but also lost in the end to the Lady Minutemen.

7th grade scorers: Kara Gwaltney, 1st place in the 100-meter hurdles and 3rd place in the 200-meter dash, Aleia Ellison, 2nd place in the 100-meter hurdles, Destiny Sanchez, 1st place in the 100-meter dash and 1st place in the high jump, Sira Green, 3rd place in the high jump, Greidys Cruz, 2nd place in the 400-meter run, and Rebeca Hernandez, 3rd place in the long jump.  The 4X100-meter relay team of Aleia Ellison, Destiny Sanchez, Kara Gwaltney, and Greidys Cruz also took first place for the 7th grade girls.

8th grade scorers: Aubrie Collins, 1st place in the shot put and the discus, Jiana Camacho, 1st place in the 200-meter dash and 2nd place in the 100-meter dash, Sydney McLaughlin, 1st place in the 800 and the 1600-meter runs, Emilia Martin, 3rd place in the 800 and 1600-meter runs, Penelope Jimenez, 2nd place in the 400-meter dash, Chloe Lynn, 2nd place in the 200-meter dash, Norah Osborne, 3rd place in the 400-meter dash,  and Tian Ci Wang, 1st place in the 100-meter hurdles. The 4X400-meter relay team of Sydney McLaughlin, Magdalena Miller, Norah Osborne, and Raquel Guevara also took 1st place for the 8th grade girls.
