The Lady RedHawks of GJHS Track flew right by the Northside Huskies Thursday night in their last regular meet of the season. The 7^th grade girls won their competition, 46-42, and the 8^th grade girls won 70-29. Congratulations to all our athletes on a successful season!

7^th grade scorers: Aleia Ellison, 1^st place in the 100-meter hurdles and 1^st place in the long jump, Destiny Sanchez, 1^st place in the 100 and 200-meter dashes, and 1^st place in the high jump, Rebeca Hernandez, 3^rd place in the long jump and  3^rd place in the 800-meter run, Kieran Adair, 2^nd place in both the shot put and discus, Sophia Diaz, 2^nd place in the 800-meter run, Cecylia Gomez Wengerd, 2^nd place in the long jump, Sydney Collins, 3^rd place in the shot put, and Audrey Garcia, 3^rd place in the discus.  The 4X100-meter relay team of Aleia Ellison, Destiny Sanchez, Sira Green, and Cecylia Gomez Wengerd also took first place for the 7^th grade girls.

8^th grade scorers: Aubrie Collins, 1^st place in the shot put and the discus, Jiana Camacho, 1^st place in the 100 and 200-meter dashes, Sydney McLaughlin, 1^st place in the 800 and the 1600-meter runs, Emilia Martin, 3^rd place in the 800-meter run and 2^nd 1600-meter, Chloe Lynn, 2^nd place in the 200-meter dash and 3^rd place in the 100-meter dash, Norah Osborne, 1^st place in the 400-meter dash,  Steffi Diaz, 2^nd place in the 400-meter dash, Magdalena Miller, 2^nd place in the high jump and 3^rd place in the 1600-meter run, Teiya Ward, 3^rd place in the long jump, Rebekah Hernandez, 2^nd place in the discus and 3^rd place in the shot put, Kathryn Sleeseman, 3^rd place in the discus, and Claire Schrock, 1^st place in the long jump. The 4X400-meter relay team of Sydney McLaughlin, Norah Osborne, Raquel Guevara, and Steffi Diaz also took 1^st place for the 8^th grade girls.
