On April 13, Goshen Middle School administrative leadership learned of a student survey sent electronically to a select group of student peers as part of an assignment. The student survey was sent without formal approval through the GMS student project review process. GMS leadership responded according to policy, immediately discontinued the survey, and followed up with the teacher involved.

Situations such as this provide opportunity for learning. As a community of diverse learners, we are mindful of the need to be sensitive and attentive to the many opportunities of learning together, including how we use technology. GMS administrators and teachers are committed to excellence in teaching through meaningful relationships.

We actively work to promote a positive and productive learning environment. Goshen Middle School is committed to challenging each student to reach their highest level of academic potential through project-based learning. This includes learning the social skills needed to be successful citizens.
